Jesus prayed to the Father for you to have unity in your relationships.
(John -23) “And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: “I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
Even if the relationship with the other person does not work out, you will have inner stability, because God is your source, not the other person.(John -26 NIV) “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me.I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” As the revelation of God’s love for us increases through knowing God more intimately, so also our love for God increases. We all have difficult people in our lives, yet God calls us to love them well.To do this, make all your decisions based on what will best promote the other person’s spiritual and eternal good. These are questions we have to answer if we ever hope to live and love well.
